Brown lines on nail bed

Fingerscrossed11 · 26/10/2020 23:26

I have discovered 2 faint brown lines on my nail bed.
Had a baby 6 weeks ago and I’m terrifying myself googling it. Could be pregnancy related due to melanin ot could be more sinister. Anyone had anything similar?
Thank you

Thank you for your reply. Have a doctor appointment next week, will mention then. Read somewhere can be caused by pregnancy but only noticed it since having baby

Saw the doctor and she asked if I have psoriasis, which I do not. No further advice given except to go back if it gets worse. This doesn’t help and certainly doesn’t explain these changes. Any advice?

I would make another app and ask for it to be referred to dermatology. I had a bruise on my toenail no idea how I did it. I had to send a pic to doctor who then phoned and said to pop down. He looked at it and said thought absolutely fine but he referred me. Turns out it's growing out it's fine like he said he though it would x
