Why can't I sweat?!

I'm early 30s, good health and never had any health issues that I know of.
I'm not at all overweight but have always been fairly inactive. Never enjoyed sports.
This last few months I've been on a huge health kick and have joined a plan where I'm doing a lot of exercise and clean eating. Its great and I really enjoy it but the one thing that baffles me is I don't sweat.
Whenever I have done exercise before and come home looking red but otherwise the exact same, dh has convinced me I don't work hard enough even when I've given it 100%, which to be honest put me off doing exercise as I felt like I couldn't do any more!
Well now he is baffled.
Hes spent weeks watching me and joining in with me doing 35 min HIITS where I do 40 secs on and 20 off, I give it my absolute all and yet still not a bead of sweat. He says he's never seen anything like it.
I drink a min of 2.5l water a day so I'm not dehydrated.
I dont recall ever sweating on holiday in my life.
The only time I remember sweating is in hospital after having dc and it was mid heatwave and my glasses kept sliding off my face as it was so hot.
But why not now?! Or ever really! It's so odd!

Have you any other symptoms? Pointy teeth/missing teeth? There's a few syndromes where people dont sweat.

Do you overheat easily?

Rare for me to sweat too. Always been like it. I get red and feel hot, but don't usually sweat unless I'm unwell. Then again, I don't really "work out" either

I found I sweated more as I got fitter. But I've always sweated a bit in HIT workouts. It sounds like it's worth checking with your go

Some people swear more than others. I too sweat little despite intense exercise. I am the more hardous of my friends yet they come out sweating all over whilst I look like I've just been to the park! When I sweat, it's usually my chest and stomach, my face is hardly wet.

Prince Andrew used the not sweating thing during his interview about his association with J Epstein to explain away some dubious behaviour. I can't remember exactly how now, but it all sounded a big dodge at the time.
If I were you I'd keep quiet about a legitimate no sweating condition in case you're called as a witness for the defence in a trial! Smile
