Hair can grow back i had iron and b12 anaemia. I used under tongue b12 sprays. Hospitals can give it yes.

You can do your own injections if you don't have any joy with hospital. I don't do intramuscular but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

This is what I use in between injections: www.hollandandbarrett.com/en-us/shop/product/betteryou-pure-energy-b12-boost-oral-spray-60099160?skuid=099160

It can be a bit of a faff to get everything but there's no need to be scared OP, subcutaneous injections are straightforward.

There's a b12 deficiency group on Healthunlocked, they might be able to help.

Thanks pawpaw, I m talking to HealthUnlocked as well.

Still want to know if anyone has had B12 injection by private clinic? How much does cost?

Apparently there is a shortage of even private GPs because of Covid. The only one that I manage to find charge £90 for the first appointment then £25 per injection. It doesn’t sound too bad I suppose if one is very desperate. There seems to be a high demand for b12 jabs atm. Anyway I managed to persuade my NHS GP to prescribe the injections for the next two weeks. Still worry about my hair as it is getting thinner every day. Thanks everyone.
