I had a hemorrhoidectomy 5 days ago. I’m managing pain with meds/stool softener. I’m concerned with the large open wound.. I had my husband take a picture and I am horrified at the size of open wound. I had a lateral incision. Can anyone share how long it took for it to close? Doctor said no to stitches. Also if anyone can share any tips for faster wound closure.
