It hurts quite a lot. Did this about 2 hours ago. Is there anyway of telling without a medical examination?

How did you do it? Can you walk on it?

A&E won't do anything except strap it to its next door neighbour to keep it stable. Micropore's good for that, and ibuprofen for the pain. Good job we're heading for some better weather so you can wear sandals for a few days.

I kind of jumped and bent it down so the nail was facing the floor I think

I can walk on it

I was thinking of strapping it it won’t do any harm will it?

I knew I'd broken my toe when I heard the crack🤮. I also had an epic bruise that started from the break and went over the top of my foot. I went to minor injuries and because the bone wasnt displaced they didn't do anything.
I found wearing trainers with memty foam inside the most comfy footwear.

Ive broken several toes( clumsy !!) As above strap it too the other toe, you can wrap some gauze or cotton wool around it if its really sore. It will go purple/ black very quickly. Comfy shoes and simple painkillers for a few days if needed.

I think I've broken my little and my big toe. Years apart. They were black and blue. Paracetamol and wooden clogs did the trick. Never went near a Dr.
