Pressure in temples

Been trying to tell myself to stop worrying and that this is nothing but wondered if anyone has had same...

For a week and a half I have been experiencing pressure/very mild pain in my temples, pain in my face down cheeks and side of my nose and for the last two days, my jaw feels not sore, but almost tired out when I've spoken to even a minute or so.

Phoned the GP who has prescribed beta blockers that I have been taking for 3 days now (understand these take a couple of weeks to work). However, it doesn't feel like a migraine and I'm not feeling anxious (aside from the obvious health worries now that the head feelings have been here for days now 😕) .

The pressure is such a weird feeling, making me quite concerned now. It just feels like something is there, particularly on my right temple.

Initially thought it was sinus related but no congestion at all - just this feeling something is in my head.

Has anyone experienced anything like this and are willing to share?

Anxiety, dehydration or sinus congestion, my bet is on sinus congestion made worse by dehydration. Inhale steam for temple pain , dip a cloth in hot water and make a warm compress. Cover your face with it for 20 minutes. Do it 3-4 times a day. And please drink more water. The continuous changing temperature nowadays is causing sinus flare ups.
If you have chronic sinus issue then use your prescription nasal inhaler.

You can have a completely unblocked nose and still have sinus issues. I have it right now.

I have exactly this!
Have been given very strong antibiotics after 2 lots didn't get rid of it.
No congestion at all either...

Thank you for the replies, it's the weirdest feeling ever, goes between pain and just a weird tingly/pressure feeling between both sides!

Iv been managing to overcome health anxiety the last year or so which Iv had for years but things like this set me way back!

I am having something similar on amoxcillin GP think sinusitis. Been going on 10 days but mine is only right temple and throbs. Pain around temple and bridge of nose and clear runny nose.

I have health anxiety so I do understand it can be exhausting. Would it be worth ringing you GP again x

I'm going to give it until Monday and then get back in touch I think. It's so frustrating - it's all I'm thinking about. Trying to keep busy and hoping it goes away but reassuring to hear others are experiencing the same 🙈
