Hey all.. serial health panicker here. So my hub had severe toothache over last couple months but due to Covid can't get filling or checked etc. (In Scotland) dentist over phone said sounds like abscess... he's had two courses of antibiotics but the pain is still there. Around the same time three lumps have appeared under his ear, today I made him call the dr thinking they would just say yeah it's because of the tooth. But the Dr is sending him for bloods and wants him to speak to the dentist again to rule out that the toothache is causing the lumps 🥴🥴. Anyone else had this. I'm freaking out. He's not bothered 🙄 men!! And I've of course been on Dr Google 🤦🏼‍♀️

Just linking to another lumpy thread from today, I echo my advice to you (but am too lazy to write it twice 🤦🏻‍♀️)

Also yes lumps in the neck can definitely be related to toothache/wisdom teeth coming through 🙂

@WorryWartOne haha thank you! He went to the dentist today and was told that's he had a big hole in his tooth and she also said that it wouldn't be related to the lumps 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️ which has made worry more! They tried to take blood from him but only managed 1 vile and they needed 3... think his dr is referring him to ENT. He is very unbothered by the whole situation. Twat 😂🥴

@Bex1517
I am going through something similar, hard lump on my neck. I have been referred for an urgent CT scan this week and I am so worried.

@Back2WorkForMe hey. Oh no! I'd be the same if I was you. But I have read most neck lumps are harmless. Fingers crossed for you! Xx

I'm a bit worried now! I noticed a few lumps on the back left of my neck at the hair line over a month ago. Only just realised no one else I know has them so I'm assuming they are swollen lymph nodes?? Also found a lump on my breast last week. I hope they aren't connected.

@Ispywithmycynicaleye hey. Have you been in touch with your dr? I had a lump last year in my breast. Was sent for scan etc and was told I've got lumpy boobs 🥴.

Yeh, saw him last week. He's referred me to the breast clinic, my appointment is tomorrow morning.
I have a numb chin. Its apparently an early symptom of breast cancer or breast cancer which has spread to the jaw. So this lump is worrying me. Dental hospital ruled out a dental cause and I've been waiting weeks for my 'urgent' neurology referral. Unfortunately they aren't seeing anyone. But it appears alot of my lymph nodes on my left side are swollen, my armpit on the side of the breast lump, my neck, in front of my ear. Blood results showed no infection. I'm hoping they are all unconnected.

Bex1517 Sorry for the late update, its madness with 2 babies under 2!! Dr at the breast clinic thinks the lump on my breast is a lymph node and has referred me for an ultrasound which is on tuesday. Another 2 big lumps have appeared, I can only assume they are also lymph nodes so I'll let them know so they can check all 3. Still have the lumps on my neck and the lump in front of my left ear is a little bigger. Luckily neurology are due to start seeing people again and phoned to offer me a telephone appointment on thursday. 5 weeks for an urgent referral 🤦‍♀️ I totally agree, it's amazing that only covid sufferers are entitled to all the care they need! My friend's DM's cancer treatment has been on hold for weeks because of covid. She is terrified of how much it's going to affect her chances of survival/ recovery.
Dr at the breast clinic was also shocked neurology stopped seeing patients too unless it was critical care.

@Ispywithmycynicaleye hey! I have a two year old and 5 year old so get you haha! Oh wow. What a worry that must be for you! I'll keep everything crossed for you. My hub had to have more bloods taken yesterday as his iron levels come back as slightly low so they checked it again and the results say it's still low 🙄 so dr wants to speak to him next week. I wouldn't be overly worried if it wasn't for his neck lumps. But I'm sure they have reduced
