Blood and white blood cells - no infection

Hey. I was wondering if anyone could offer any advice please. I'm 26 year old, mum of 1.

I have been suffering UTI symptoms for about a month. At first I had it for about a week, tried to flush it out with water and cranberry but had no luck. I went for a wee one night and when I wiped, I was surprised to see blood on the tissue but none in the toilet. I called the GP who prescribed 3 days of Macrobid. She confirmed blood and white blood cells in my urine sample and sent the sample off to the labs for further testing.

Fast forward 3 days and my symptoms were still the same, so I went back to the GP. She advised that my urine was clear of bacteria but prescribed me another 4 days of Macrobid and sent a second sample off to the lab for testing.

My symptoms improved a little and the blood stopped for a few days but now I'm back to square one. The second sample also came back from the lab as clear of bacteria, so my GP has sent off a third sample and is also testing it for Chlamydia. I've been with the same sexual partner for 5 years so I'll be very surprised if it's that.

Tonight using a mirror I noticed that the blood comes out of my urethra like a trickle, after my urine stream. The weeing itself is quite painful but I no longer have the constant urge to wee, nor do I feel like I can't wee. I've never experienced anything like this before and I'm so confused.

Basically, I'm waiting for my third lot of results to come back but it looks like they'll end up referring me to a urologist. I've googled possibilities (stupid, I know) and now I'm terrified that I have bladder cancer. It's very uncommon for someone my age, but smoking is a risk factor and I have smoked in the past.

Sorry for the long winded post but I'm driving myself mad. I'm struggling to find anyone who has suffered something similar! any advice/experiences would be greatly appreciated x

Try not to panic too much. I've had the before and I'm fine. I remember being freaked out about the blood too but if can be common with simple things like a UTI. Don't google it's the worst thing you can do. You'll have yourself in a constant state of panic reading that as it tends to give you worst case scenarios.
