Once in few years I have this situation when my stomach has this empty feeling of constant hunger, even I’m not hungry.
When I had it first time in 2015 it started after course of antibiotics so I thought maybe my stomach is upset and the microflora unbalanced.
I visited my GP numerous times about this and she did not believe me- said nobody can have a nonstop hunger, telling me it’s in my head.
It went away after two weeks.
Similar happened about 2-3 years ago, this happened after I drunk white wine on empty stomach- again horrible constant hunger pain.
I went to Gp again- different one. He took blood tests and said all ok. Again it went away after few weeks.
Last year I had it again after strong coffee- I saw GP - she explained me that is imbalance in my stomach lining and gave me some Lansoprazole for few week.
It went away.
Now I got again- started about 3 weeks ago, after I had a wine and later staring Coffee.
It’s worse this time.
I immediately started Lansoprazole as I got a box here. It seemed working but on day 14 I had some wine etc, it came back with much stronger hunger feeling.
Literally nonstop.
It won’t go away, even I eat the whole fridge!
I thinking if it’s stomach ulcer? But I read that that hunger pain would go away if eat something but it doesn’t now at all.
It’s pretty debilitating feeling.
I’m also never drink anything ever, just mild coffee. I wonder if I’m dehydrated badly and this from it?
I’m sorry long post.
I’m not nauseous or anything.
Just hunger pain...
