yes it does - the newer the tube the less it stings though.

Yes, in a toe curling hair straightening kind of fashion!

It will make you go

Yep, a little bit. Then it goes numb for a bit.

I quite like it actually.

Apparently it does. DH told me this after watching me put some on DS's mouthulcer.

He sat there watching whilst DS complained of the pain, I got out the tube, said "here you go, let's try some of this" squeezed some onto my finger and put it in his mouth, THEN, when DS yelled, in a "how could you do that to me" manner, DH said: "Oh, you shouldn't use that, it stings."

I don't think it stings, but it does go weirdly hot for a bit. My children don't like it much, but are old enough to recognise that after that it does work. Tastes pretty odd too. The new cool variety might not.

A buddy on the tropical fishkeeping forum i am a member of has an ulcer problem with his pond koi.
anglers recommend bonjela as a quick fix till you can get the proper meds.
i needed to know how much it stung so i could tell him before he applied it to the fish.

Nuts i know!

How does he know the koi have ulcers? Do they whinge at every meal and complain that their mouths hurt? Has he tried telling them to eat on the other side?

It does and for some reason the area I put the bonjela has dissolved and now it’s bright pink and sensitive.
