Breast lump- to see GP or wait???

Ok guys really need some advice as a bit freaked out. Will stick to the facts. Found a lump in my right breast yesterday. No idea how long its been there- I dont check regularly( Bad bad I know)
Its hard, unmoveable and feels quite deep in the tissue, however its easy to feel and DH found it straight away without me needing to tell him where it was.
Its about the size of a brussel sprout and feels a bit bumpy, like a tightly knotted ball of string
No swelling, inflamation, discharge etc. Lump is not painful.
Im 47 and not on any hormonal BC. 2 DS- both adults now. Not menopausal yet- still very regular.
No breast cancer history in family, but sister and mum both had womb cancer.
Ive been very anemic for last 6 months- heamoglobin levels 8.2. Ive just had an iron infusion. Not clear as to what has caused this.
Have a chronic long term health condtion( Systemic Sclerosis)
Ok- so current climate considered- should i be phoning gp on Monday? Or should I track the lump over the course of my cycle to see if it changes? Im currently day 10 into my 32 day cycle.
If i phone GP will they even be able to see or examine me?
Any advice/ thoughts would be great.

Absolutely phone the gp. One of my friends put it off over this and in the few weeks she waited it's grown and was told last week it's cancer 😢

Better safe than sorry

Ring gp on Monday, if anything they will be quieter just now and of anything is then you may get referred quicker

100% phone your GP on Monday. The odds of it being benign are hugely in your favour, but better to be safe than sorry.

I’m a GP. Absolutely call yours Monday morning. They’ll do an initial telephone consultation and at my practice we’d see you for examination and referral urgently if necessary. Good luck.

ring for an appt, they will see you as long as you dont have covid symptoms, if youbdo they will gwt you an appt at a "hot hub"
breast lumps need checking, they won't wait and the 2 ww system is still up and running. I work as a HCA in a Gp practice and we are still seeing patients with appropriate need and us in PPE..

Ring the gp Monday or do an econsult over weekend - they will hopefully phone you and might refer you directly to breast clinic without seeing you (I am gp and that is what I have been doing to save people having to come into practice ) . Hope you get sorted ASAP take care x

My doctors surgery is open over the weekend. Lots are doing extended hours at the moment, you might be able to call them tomorrow.

Good luck OP. I found a lump. The quicker you get seen the quicker you will get answers. Mine was benign.
I just have lumpy boobs apparently. Blush

I was in a similar position OP, but with a mole that has distinctly changed. I'd been putting off phoning the GP because I assumed there was no point, but couldn't stop thinking about it and rang this week. Got straight through and the doctor rang me back and asked me to go down so she could see it. The surgery was totally deserted except for cleaners, receptionist who let me in, and the doctor, who examined me and made a referral to the hospital. The appointment came through almost immediately for next week.

So, don't hesitate to ring. Services are still running and actually seem to be more easy to access than they would normally be. It's important you get seen, even though the likelihood is that it will be nothing to worry about and all will be well.
