Blood pressure readings - are these a concern?

I’ve been taking my own blood pressure as pregnant and midwife appointments are over he phone now

I’ve also been checking DH’s as we have the equipment to do so now

Over the past week each day his results have been around 125 over 75

We generally take 3 readings each time and this is the average

He’s otherwise a very healthy looking slim 29 year old who doesn’t drink, smoke and eats very healthily.

I’m no expert but to me that’s a very normal, healthy reading, especially the lower / bottom figure.

That's normal

It's totally normal but I'm baffled why you are asking on here and not googling. The NHS and various charities am have very clear BP charts.

I'm no expert but if he was in hospital that blood pressure result would be of any concern.

They use something called NEWS2 to record observations and the patient gets a score, the higher the score the more concern there is. 125/75 would be 0.

‘Textbook’ is 120/80 so that absolutely fine!

Pregnancy tends to lower the blood pressure so that’s within ‘normal’ pregnancy ranges.

GP practices generally would consider 140/90 or less to be acceptable. If it was higher than this they'd start to look into it. NEWS2 which is used in hospitals is when it's immediately concerning which is a systolic of 200ish I believe (although again a GP practice would consider 180/110 as immediately concerning)

His is not considerably lower. The lower value is considered more important and that is the same. 102 is considered on the lower side of good, but this quote also quite common during pregnancy.
