Possible kidney infection - anti bi otics

For the last few months I have had kidney infections and uti's, the last one I had I remember being so ill and being at the doctors saying it was like a hangover from hell, she said, do u feel better in morning then get worse at night? I said yes!! She said yes that's what happens with a kidney infection (I tested positive), had anti bi otics and it cleared up.

Now I have these dreaded symptoms again and I feel absolutley horrible, honestly like I'm very ill! I have some left over anti bi otics in the cupboard, can I take one of these tonight until I can speak to a doctor tomorrow? I know they will prescribe me anti bi otics again and I will tell her which ones I have taken tonight.

I know some people will say it's only until tomorrow etc but if you felt as bad as I do right now you would try anything Sad

I find this concerning whenever I read this. The instructions for antibiotics are alway complete the course. Do not stop taking the antibiotics even if you feel better. Don’t take leftover antibiotics. Phone the dr tomorrow.

Don’t be tempted to start taking leftover antibiotics if you feel unwell, even if your symptoms are the same as last time.

I have chronic utis/kidney infections and antibiotics weren't doing that great of a job. I've been taken Dmannose, probiotics and cranberry suppliments for the past few months and my symptoms have eased up massively. Worth a shot?.
