DS has just developed these on his ears. Is it eczema? Or something else? He’s 4, he does have eczema but never on his ears before?

It’s both ears and sore? Anybody have any ideas? Thanks

It looks like the eczema i have. Sudocreme overnight is brilliant.

Does he wear headphones?
My son complains of sore ears after wearing his. Never broken the skin though.

Thanks - I’ll try the eczema cream. He doesn’t have headphones - I might check the fit of his cycle helmet- but that’s never been a problem before

Does he pull on his ears when he's tired or upset? DS does and has what's in the second pic behind both his ears! I put sudocrem on it but it's always there unfortunately.

I get something similar every spring. It’s called juvenile spring eruption. It looks very like it if you google it.

Geekster that’s fascinating. I was looking at ds’ ears in the bath tonight wondering what that was... now I have a name for it!

Yes it is interesting, mine has started this last week with being outside in the sun and cool breeze. I get it at this sort of time every year.

Sudocrem works wonders on that!

Putting sun cream on helps too as it’s sun related. As does wearing a hat and keeping your ears covered.

@Geekster1963 Thanks for that. Seems to match it exactly.

Glad to be of help Brunelofibro Smile I have eczema too so we might be more prone to it. I know when I get it my ears get really itchy first, then come up in the blisters. I look like a dog scratching at their ears!

I put a bit of my steroid cream on sometimes.
