Just a case of wait and see I think. If more spots come, then it more than likely is CP. You could get a pharmacist to confirm if you can't get a Drs appt.

Good luck!

Could be molluscum...google for pics.

P.S. kid there was a thread previously about not abbreviating Chicken Pox to CP (usually refers to Cerebal Palsy). It doesn't bother me but I can see the point IYSWIM

If my DC didn't develop anymore spots overnight and ate their breakfast, then I would send them to school.
Thats assuming he doesn't have that many now, it could always be heat rash or some sort of viral rash.

I did think that as I typed it, won't do that again!

Indeed if it was Chicken pox you would expect it to spread rapidly and would definatley have more spots tomorrow.

Like I said - doesn't bother me...I was just passing on previous comments. Hope you weren't offended

We thought DD3 had Chicekn Pox. Thurns out to be molluscum. They are just little blisters. Hers are smaller than chicken pox and not as red & inflammed. They tend to cluster as well rather than being over whole body. They don't actually look particularly eurrgh in RL
