Feels like I have an early prolapse, but Doctor thinks not?

Hi, I'm looking for some advice please, and really hoping someone on here has experienced something similar. Quick bit of background...I had Laparoscopy surgery 3 weeks ago which was quite extensive as they did work on my bladder, bowel, uterus and ovary due Endometriosis, and also developed quite a bad UTI a week after the operation.
A couple of days into the UTI, I developed quite severe localised pain in an area low in my pelvis, and started to get a sensation that felt as though something was stuck really high up in my vagina/cervix area. It feels as though I have a tampon in that has been inserted wrong, but a lot higher up if that makes sense?
The pain has now gone, but I'm still left with the feeling that there is something stuck. I was asked to come into the GP surgery today in case it was the start of a prolapse, but the GP said that she couldn't see any signs of a prolapse.
Has anyone ever experienced this? The sensation is driving me mad tbh, and I'm also concerned that perhaps the Doctor has missed something if it was at the very early stages, so I'm still pretty worried, that the surgery has somehow left me with a partial prolapse. Thanks in advance for any advice!

sorry this is happening to you, it must be worrying. I would not accept a GPs non-specialist opinion - this a gynaecologist job, I would insist on a referral.
