Dental phobic sil doesn't like our lovely dentist and is looking for "kind, sympathetic, patient" dentist in W4/W6/W11 area. She seems to think it would encourage more frequent and less stressful visits if "he was young, hot - preferably a bit like Brad Pitt". Any suggestions?

Havent got a clue, best thing would be to go for a check up and have a chat with them when you get there. I'm not dental phobic but I do suffer panic attacks. Took me ages to find a good dentist that I was happy with and did have to pay private fees cos I had to be refered to have him do my work, but he was fab.

I go to a lovely dentist On strand on the green in Kew, right on the road that runs next to the river.. she can't miss it.

Im afraid she is a she... but shes really lovely. I was terrified of dentists and didn't go for ages!! But Lucinda has been really great!

Thank you very much, ladies. Recommendations are being passed on. Naturally, if she does find a Brad Pitt lookalike I'll let you all know...!

I have a lovely dentist. He is in SW15.
He is mid to late twenties. Of Indian origian, very cute, twinkling brown eyes. Brought up in Sweden. He is brilliant!

Starry, is yours based at Shiona Scott's practice, by any chance?

lovely dentist here too in Kew - cutish but not Brad Pitt standard. Fantastic dentists (Kew Dental practice) even the Americans next door admit they are easily comparable in quality with American dentists

Ah - it was the Swedish/Indian connection that made me wonder!

Two, at least, by the sound of it! The one I saw was also v. nice and twinkly.

Could be - busy man, if so. Or maybe they're siblings?

I can recommend the Roseneath Dental Practice in Richmond (private). Not sure they can magic up a Brad Pitt lookalike but they are all very nice and patient.

Could be a sibling. I can ask him next I go.
