I feel my skin getting itchy and then when I itch it, even very lightly, this happens.

I have it in a mild form.

That looks very much like a wheal and flare reaction, so it's a skin reaction to something. I'm not a doctor, but a microbiologist and did modules on diseases and disorders as part of my training.

I've had it years. I take a daily antihistamine. Apart from that , nothing really works. Bizarrely, being on holiday abroad stops it. If I forget to take my piriton I get insane twice daily attacks. With the daily antihistamine I come up in mild hives but that's it. I get bored of people saying ' ohh have you scratched yourself?!'

I started getting it after I was diagnosed with birth trauma/PTSD. One area starts itching then everything starts! I will try some medication!
