Suddenly can’t hold bladder?

Really embarrassed about this.

I’m in my early 20s and since the past week have suddenly not been able to hold my bladder as normal. From reading the NHS website urge incontinence describes it best.

This only happens at home, not whilst I’m out thankfully. And it’s just a couple of drips rather than a full wee. Eg normally I go into the bathroom and prep the shower etc before using the loo, would normally be able to wait - however now I just get a sudden uncontrollable urge. I do have a tendency to hold my bladder for long periods which I’m guessing is the cause. Sex also makes it worse. Will my body naturally adjust back to normal?

Sounds like a UTI, get your GP practice nurse to do a dip test.
