any ideas?
ds1 is 5 just started school and can't sit with his legs crossed - and you know how they like that at school!! he just says it really hurts his knees and hips
anyone else and is it something the gp should know about? we'll be telling him anyhow as ds1 takes high dose long term steroids which i was rather hoping were not connected to this

my dh has never been able to cross his legs, still cant at 22, hes got really long legs though and just cant get his knees down, ends up with his ankles crossed and knees up by his chest.

i would say not to worry but obv talk to the gp in case it is connected to his steroids.

I can sit crosslegged for about 30 seconds and then it gets too sore and I have to stretch out or stand up.

Clearly I was only built for sitting on soft furnishings. Maybe I have blue blood?

  • ds is a bit princely

were you like that at school as well?

I was. I've never been able to sit on the floor. I used to be very jealous of people who could collapse in a boneless type position and sit like that for hours. I was crap at yoga too.
