Thriva blood test kits- anyone used?

Has anyone used these? The 5 star reviews seem too good to be true and the awful reviews are really awful. Just wondering if it will be worth the money really?
I do have some regular bloods taken but don’t fancy waiting 3 weeks for a GP app just to ask for a blood test that they may decline.

I use them regularly and think it’s brill. You get the results either next day or day after. I had a bad liver result once and it scared me so I have it checked every 6 months just for peace of mind without having to use the NHS

Terrible. Hurt like hell and completely inaccurate results. Ended up having to have bloods taken at GP following thriva 'abnormal' results only to find everything was fine. GP said they wish people would stop using these testing kits as the labs they use are not recognised by the NHS so they have to do them all over again.

Yes I've used them twice and been quite impressed. It picked up a vitamin D and an iron deficiency so I've been able to correct those

It flagged up a CRP level of about 13 with notes telling me this was 'highly abnormal' and I MUST see my GP immediately saying it was an inflammatory marker that could mean I was at high risk of a heart attack or something else hideous.

I panicked. Managed to get a phone appointment with my doctor who was most perturbed at my panicky ramblings. Told me the result was within the norm and nothing that would worry him in the slightest. And - crucially - told me that doing these blood tests without a clinical reason meant that they'd flag stuff up that could be incorrectly interpreted.

So I'm on the fence. I think they're good for vitamin D, B etc ... and your first test is relatively cheap as you get decent discounts. I wouldn't rule out doing it again as thanks to doing it I now have corrected some deficiencies

Oh and my understanding was that they use the same labs as the NHS do. Happy to be corrected on that but that is what they themselves say - it they did, last time I looked

I just googled, they use private labs.
It’s only iron I want re testing so, for £27, I might just go ahead although I have a nurse appointment for something else next week so I will mention my concern it & see if she feels it’s worthy of a blood form.

I signed up for a year, have just got my third set of results back and despite me being very disciplined in following a lean diet (intermittent fasting, no added sugars, no baked goods/carbs even pasta, no alcohol ) my blood sugar markers have gone up. Why?? Are they falsely making them go up to panic you to buy more stuff? 🤔 it’s terribly cynical but …
