I take sertraline daily but today I feel tight chested. I haven’t had to use ventolin for ages but feel I should have a few puffs. Anyone know if it’s safe to take together please

sertraline is a preventer (taken every day) and ventolin is a reliever - use the ventolin when you feel you need to. Also get an appointment with you asthma nurse t ensure your technique is still correct and to increase your asthma education

@reindeersandchristmastrees - sertraline is an antidepressant and nothing to do with asthma! Hmm

Drugs.com shows the only interaction to be a risk of increased irregular heart rhythm if you have an underlying condition. It says not to exceed the stated dose. Your doctor will know your medications and will only prescribe what is safe. Id recommended you pop in to a pharmacist tomorrow and ask advice as you can't trust strangers on the internet
