Urgent: MRI and fillings

I have booked a private MRI for my head for this morning.

I was given a referral from my GP.

I have just been researching about what to wear as I had previously read about no metal on clothes and came across that there may be issues with metal implants and fillings.

Has anyone ever had an MRI of their head/brain when they have fillings in their mouth?

Any radiologists or neurologists able to give advice?

Dental fillings are not magnetic - no problem

I'vehad loads of MRIs in the last 6 months; I have a mouth full of fillings as well as crowns and a dental implant... and now I've even got plates/staples in my skull - none of this has been an issue Smile
