Sore on roof of mouth that won't go away (bit grim sorry)

I've had a strange sore on the roof of my mouth for a couple of months. At first I though it was like a mouth ulcer, but not as painful. It swelled up then burst. When it swells it makes my mouth and throat ache on that side. When it burst (I popped it while having a look and poke) and it wasn't pus it was a clear liquid that came out. It never goes away just has a cycle of swelling and bursting. It only recently I have started to worry about it as my throat aches all the time. I saw a nurse about it and she said I should see a dentist. I don't show any signs of infection.

I was wondering if anyone has had anything similar. I have had a very stressful time lately and wondered if that could be related (like ulcers when you are run down) but I have a nagging worry about it now.

You need to see a dentist urgently I am afraid. Any ulcer/lesion that lasts longer than 2 weeks needs checking.

You should def see a dentist to get it checked out - they are the experts at things in mouths
