Sgar free alternatives?

My new year resolution was to cut processed sugar gradually from my diet. I've slowly been coming the the realisation that it is in everything!
First I found it in mayo, not such an issue as learned how to make my own and it is really simple. It is also in the brand of oat milk I used, but I have found a sugar free alternative.
But my other staples of bread, meat alternatives (like quorn) and veg stock cubes for making soup all have sugar in it.
Has anyone else tried to cut sugar out of their diet? What do you eat??

The best solution is to stay away from processed foods. Making meals from scratch using fresh ingredients allows you to fully control how much sugar you're taking in. For example, make your own stock. It's very easy and no sugar is needed.

Its sooo easy to make your own stock. Look at the ingredients and chuck them in boiling water. Bit of carrot. Celery and leek, you can batch freeze. Whatever dried herbs you can find- oregano, rosemary, thyme, bit of turmeric. My secret stock ingredient is...asafoetida. If you add this it virtually tastes like chicken stock. Not that this will appeal as you are veggie Hmm. It is a good alternative to onion in any recipe though.

Just avoid processed food containing more than 5mg of sugar.

I should have said avoid food containing more than 5 grams sugar per 100 grams.

Thanks all, especially for stock and bread. I live on soup. I'm not veggie but don't eat much meat.
@Butterer not tried TVP but will look into it, thanks.
Am really shocked about how much foods contain sugar. Will remember the 5g per 100g rule @Oldmum55

@GoldfishGirl had to Google asafoetida. I like that's it's an alternative to onion, means the dog can get some too.

I have agave nectar in my tea. They do an organic one in Waitrose for £2 it’s in a tube with the sweetners. I just put a teaspoon in my tea so it lasts a while. I love the taste of it now. Apparently it’s better for you than normal sugar x eapceixqlkg if your diabetic
