How much do people drink (not alcohol)?

I always have a drink of something at hand, all day. Glass of water at the bedside, a bottle in my bag when I’m out and about. I totted what I drank yesterday and it seems like an awful lot! 4 mugs of tea, 3 mugs of redbush (all black, no sugar), 1 mug of coffee (black with sugar), 1 Diet Coke, and at least 1.5l of water. Is this normal? How much does everyone else drink?

I don't drink enough. I find it difficult to drink cold drinks so mainly drink tea and coffee. Maybe 5 mugs a day.

Similar tea and water but no soda/artificially sweetened drinks. I also drink alcohol, but am on a break.

Not enough.
Pint of water with breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Occasionally some alcohol in the evening.
If I forget to drink with a meal, I dont really notice it til I load the dishwasher and there are less glasses.

Sounds okay to me!

I usually have 3-4 cups of tea a day and one coffee. Glass of water with lunch and dinner, Occasionally throughput the day as well. I need to start drinking more water. It's one of my goals for this year.

I drink loads of tea. 7 mugs a day, at least. Plus a couple of glasses of water.

I pretty much only drink water or diluting juice on a normal day. (Don’t like hot drinks and choose not to drink fizzy drinks or pure juices due to excess calories and bloating when I do.)

I would rarely have a day when I drink less than 2ltr and if I do then I feel the difference and will always make up the loss the following day (probably before 9am).

On a regular day it would be closer to 3 ltrs (give or take a glass each way).

If I go for a run then it would be a minimum of 4ltr for the day - usually 2ltr within an hour or so of finishing my run and then the rest over the course of the day.

I don’t like cold drinks or water. I drink tea, all day long. Probably about 10 cups. Blush

I used to drink a lot even carrying a bottle of water with me, then I started worrying about needing the loo when out and about and I cut back to just 2 coffees 2 teas and a glass of juice which I realised is not enough. So I've started adding and extra cup of tea which I guess it's still not enough.

Interesting that there is such a huge range here! I do need the loo all the time, and at night at least once, which is probably no surprise!

Five pints or so a day.

I had kidney stones some years back, and swapped out all my mug/glasses for larger ones. I drink the same number of cups, but a pint mug is rather more hydrating than a 350ml normal cup!

When I was pregnant I was obsessed with water and drank 4/5 litres a day! I had to check with midwife it was safe!

Now I drink about 2/3 litres of water. One tea in morning, a coffee mid morning then a herbal tea at night. I rarely drink juice etc

I get a headache if I drink loads of tea... Dont know how everyone drinks so much?!

I wee about 4 times a day.... I think I have a bladder of steel 😂

It's ok to drink more water and fluids in general but careful you don't drink too much as you could end up with an electrolyte imbalance, like not enough salt in the system. I didn't know this years ago and thought the more the better!

Around three pints of water a day.
I take a lot of meds and I also really like water.

I drink a lot!
Large mug of tea with breakfast
2 large mugs of coffee & 1 tea (sometimes 2) at work
About 3 litres of water during the working day plus more if i go to the gym in the evening.
I tend to drink less at weekend as i don't always just have a bottle of water to hand like I do at work.
