I want to stop drinking every night as it has become a habit which is obviously not very healthy. What do you do to relax in the evenings once the kids are in bed?

MaryAnnSingleton Mon 27-Aug-07 18:45:42

watch telly mostly !

BBBee Mon 27-Aug-07 18:52:00

Mumsnet is a great one for recovering from too much exposure to kids.

Sometimes I talk to DH, but generally we are both so exhausted we just grunt at each other from opposite sides of the room!

fryalot Mon 27-Aug-07 19:05:53

kerry - at least neither of us would expect to talk to the other grin we could start a thread entitled "people in the living room with me"

It's ringing a bit of a bell, but not sure I can quite comprehend what you're on about

filthymindedvixen Mon 27-Aug-07 19:21:02

lol.

I didn't specify with anyone else... hmm

BarbieGirl Mon 27-Aug-07 19:23:31

Sex - what's that grin? Healthier than boozing every night I am sure - think of all those calories you burn off. DH works most nights sad, not going to happen.

Nymphadora Mon 27-Aug-07 19:29:55

Yeah don't knock sex as a activity , I ahve lost half a stone since I have been with my new bf grin

fryalot Mon 27-Aug-07 19:30:32

Anything on tonight?

foxinsocks Mon 27-Aug-07 19:48:17

hmm

I find a good book the most relaxing of all

but if I haven't got a good book on the go, some mindless TV, sometimes cooking (sometimes I find it stressful, sometimes relaxing, depends on my mood), glass of wine, phone call to a friend

did you have a moment of fast heart beat there between the posts Pruni? a moment where a total blackout or internet disaster would have meant we were all picturing you at it like a rabbit every evening wink?
