Appendicitis? (I will go to GP if my symptoms persist). It started last night, dull/sharp pain in my kidney area. Lasted through the night but woke up this morning and pain has worsened - very sharp constant pain in my lower right abdomen. Thought it could possibly be trapped wind but starting to doubt that now.

Is there a walk-in centre near you? Those symptoms could be other things too, and you need to get checked out really.

@darndifino I'm sure there is nearby. I have a 10 month old and so have been really putting it off but think it's best to be seen, I'm quite uncomfortable

For me the pain started in my stomach and worked its way down to my lower right side where it got worse and worse until I knew I needed A&E stat. Really sore to prod. Get checked out!

I had upper abdominal pain (thought it was indigestion) for 2 evenings - no pain during the day. Began feeling very unwell & nauseated, pain was in upper abdomen. No pain in lower abdomen at all until a Dr examined me & poked there - then it hurt like buggery.

Can you lift your knee up to your tummy? I could lift my left leg fine but could not lift my right leg.

Thanks everyone. I've been to the GP. He's prescribed me antibiotics for suspected Pancreatitis and told me that if the pain worsens or I'm sick etc then I'll need to go to A&E. Honestly the pain is unbearableSad

Day 1: generally felt off, stomach ache, mild to middling.
Night 1: sickness and diarrhoea, v sore in middle of tummy.
Day 2: sore achey tummy moving to side.
Night 2: severe lower right side stabbing pain, went to a&e, appendix removed a little later.

My husbands was an overnight escalation of pain so much quicker.

Hope you’re ok. Take no risks.
