What are these on my feet? With pics.

This has been going on since March / April. Small lumps appear (like on the dark red polish picture) which then get bigger and end up like the dark red lumps. They are itchy when hot and sore the rest of the time. They make walking painful.

They slowly shrink and disappear and then more appear.

I saw a podiatrist in April who had no idea what they were?! But I have seen some pictures similar online that say chilblains? Any ideas?

Not an expert but blisters maybe. Are your shoes too tight? Or rubbing against your toes?

I thought blisters but they’re firm and not filled with liquid. Various shoes - flip flops, trainers, boots, uggs. They just keep appearing Confused

Thank you. When the podiatrist couldn’t say, I felt like I must have some weird disease!

trick is to try to stop your feet getting too cold and if they are, Don't warm them too fast. This is what causes chilblains.
Your toes look very pale in one of the pics. Do you have Raynaud's?

I think that’s just the flash as it was taken in a dark room. I don’t have Raynauds, my husband does but my feet are always freezing, even in the summer. My hands usually are too. I have just bought some thermal socks suitable for Arctic conditions 🤣 and I am trying to make sure I always have slippers on in the house. Broken out the Uggs as well for the cold morning school runs.

Do you find you get them all year round? This has been going on for me since April 😫

No, only in the winter when my feet are either freezing cold or boiling hot. I stick them out of the duvet at night snd then they get cold very quickly. It is the difference in temperature very quickly that causes the skin damage

I’m on my phone so it’s difficult to see the pic clearly, are the bumps on the bone or on the flesh? Gout can create lumps and is very painful
