Foot pain? Could it be from years being on my feet for work?

I'm 36 and would say I'm fairly active I enjoy walking and going to the gym but I've never had problems with sore ankles/feet

All my jobs I've had have required me to be on my feet. 1st job was door to door sales was out from mid morning till late evening walking about getting people to sign up to charities so was always on my feet then got a job in a factory and before I fell pregnant you had to stand for long periods in front of your production line I eventually got a seat when i got further on in my pregnancy.
Once I had my DD after a few years I got a cleaning job in the evening as yes you guessed on my feet did that for 13 years now back into cleaning but at a much heavy pace (hospital offices) so theres pressure to do everything and now starting to notice my ankle on right leg is sore and pain even goes into my foot at the top I do limp at times with it too.
Also I've noticed same leg and its happend twice since being here the only way I can describe it is if something has popped/cracked in the tendon behind ankle and I've got to sit down as cant stand on it and twist my ankle in a circle and it feels as of it pops back in it's a weird one then leg foot ankle is sore after.
Is this just wear and tear cause of being on my feet for all these years and maybe time to think about changing job

Have made a appointment with doc Wednesday though

I have the same OP....I think it is a combination for me. For years...from age 14 till about 23 or so I danced and studied acting professionally and sometimes, I rehearsed on unsrprung hard floors. I also have loose joints...I'm over-mobile. Are you?

I also have about a stone extra weight at the moment...if I lose weight it improves. Are you overweight? A podiatrist might be of more use than the GP...you might need some special insoles.
