Hello

NOT a poo troll . Not changed my Username either to post this

I have IBS (D) and lately I have been awoken from my sleep in a mess down there as , well, title says it all .

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this (I am 54 ffs ) and what the cause was . I am going to the doctors but google just tells me it could be a virus or infection . Its horrible and effecting my quality of life somewhat as I dare not stay at a friends or in a hotel etc just in case . I was also wondering if it is to do with my IBS .

I'm really sorry to hear this. I have IBS and it's hell, but as yet not this experience. But you're got my complete empathy.

Thank You

Ringing the doctor in the morning Have to try to get answered by 8.15 to make a same day appointment or for him to ring back in the afternoon but if he deems it urgent enough he usually fits me in that same afternoon or at least Monday .

Do you follow any kind of IBS ‘diet’? I have IBS and find dairy really sets off my symptoms. Have you tried the low fodmap diet? I found that it helped with my ibs-d.
