So been to gp twice today. They suspect I have bacterial pneumonia. I had bloods done and get chest x-ray tomorrow. Have been given clarityromycin. Amoxicillin did nothing.
I just feel useless. My kids are 2 and 4. Their Dad (OH) is doing a fab job taking care of everything but he's had to take time off work. My Dads and step mom helping too when theye can but work too. Lost me mom a while ago and finding I miss her so much more at the minute, adding to the depression.

Anyone been here? Got advise?

Dh and I had swine flu in 2010. Dc were 2 and 5 at the time. Basically, we laid like limp lettuces for most of the time we were unwell and let the kids run amok during that time and fed them crap. The house was a mess and so were we but we all got through it ok. We couldn’t ask anyone to come and help as we didn’t want to pass it in. Just go with the flow, don’t worry about mess etc and just feed the kids what you can etc. The most important thing is that you rest as much as you can, just veg out on the sofa and stick kids tv on all day. Hope you feel better soon. I got pneumonia after the flu so no how you feel, it’s pants.

In the same boat currently but with a newborn its hell on earth. TV on for toddler during the day and brief snuggled cat naps were if toddler moves I'd feel it. Hope you feel better soon. Lots of fluids if you can.
