What the fuck is wrong with me?

Pain and bloating after eating - not every time but seems to be if I eat too early or too late or too much, there's a safeish time early afternoon where I can eat a little and not have lots of side effects

Pain is the top of my stomach and in the middle bottom of my back - leads to vomiting quite a bit

Not ovarian cancer, had a scan recently and there's nothing dodgy there
Thought it was a bug but it's been 16 days now, surely it would have passed?

On buscopan and naproxen but still not helping really

I'm knackered as I'm up in the night with pain and getting only a few hours per night

I suggest you revisit your GP and ask for further tests x

Could be anything. Gallbladder?
You need to go back to the GP.

Sorry to hear this - I can empathise as I am finding I can’t eat anything more than a snack without vomiting or drink a cuppa without regurgitating! Now chronically bloated enough to get the occasional seat on the bus, as I look pregnant despite being well past all that.

Be sure to include any bowel symptoms/changes in bowel habit in the diary for your GP when you go back as they will ask. Hope you get some answers (and relief) soon.

Naproxen is extremely harsh on the stomach. I'm surprised that you've been given it for a stomach issue? When I was prescribed it for a herniated disc I was put on omeprazole at the same time, to protect my stomach from the effects of the naproxen, and even then I ended up having to stop taking it after a relatively short time because of really severe heartburn that took weeks to subside after I came of the naproxen.

As for the initial symptoms you describe, my first thought was gallstones.

Sounds like your gallbladder to me. Maybe see your GP?

Sounds identical to symptoms my sister had and she will be having a 1.5cm gallstone and gallbladder removed in the New Year. Definitely need a visit to the GP but in the meantime try following a low fat diet to see if it improves in the short term

Sounds like your gallbladder to me too. Horrendous pain! Back to the GP for you! Good luck x

Oh yes, missed that - ibuprofen and especially naproxen can cause ulcers if taken long term and on an empty stomach.

Did you get the prescription for naproxen from your GP for the pain you’re experiencing? Or for something else?

Back to the GP as soon as you can. Pain at top of stomach/middle back/nausea all pont to problems with your pancreas. A scan of the ovaries would not show anything amiss with your pancreas, so you need to get it checked asap.

I was also going to say I really dont think the naproxen are probably helping.in their own right they cause stomach issues (top) of pain and distortion as do other NSAIDS. Stick to paracetamol or co codamol. Out of interest do any foods make it much worse than others? Eg foods more oily ie oil based salad dressing or fried food things with olive oil on or other things you can think of or anything in general? Think back.
