7 weeks post partum and my pelvic floor is still well and truly buggered. Feeling miserable and wish I'd had a c-section - please tell me yours got better and how!

mine did get better - and back to normal in time (keep doing the kegels). i think they say it takes six months for the effects of whatever hormone it is which relaxes everything to wear off completely but doesn't take that long for things to feel right again and pelvic floor faster than that.
then i got pg again so back to square one!

Thanks, that is reassuring. I'm really sorry to hear you're having problems following a section orangehead. A reminder that the grass is not always greener. Am seeing physio on Tuesday and have also just bought Aquaflex weights which I've seen praised on other threads here. Just been feeling reallly down as bladder control virtually nil, yet at nine months pg my pfms could still stop pee midstream (sorry if tmi) - amazing what a few hours pushing and giving birth to a bowling ball can do.
