Has anyone suffered from the above? I think I have this (fit all the symptoms) and haven't a clue what to do, other than to stop driving and ask for a referral fron the GP.

It is really scary and I am also going through the menopause (which doesn't help things!)

I had this when I went through the menopause. I had always been a very confident driver in every condition, all type of roads.

All in a sudden, I started to experience this mainly on dual carriage way, and at night. It's a horrible feeling, very scary. I had no idea what was happening and became scared of driving.

I now know that it was all anxiety. I didn't recognise it as such as I didn't feel anxious at anything in particular. It was physical anxiety, triggered by those hormones shift. It got better, but still remained on longer trips. I haven't experience it for a long time now.

All this to say, yep, it is related to the menopause, however odd that seems.

Dontdisturbmenow I am scared. I think it may be some neurological condition. I have an appointment with my GP in two weeks, but what can I do about it? My menopause started in January and this is when this driving issue started. Is is really hormnes???
