I found a breast lump a few weeks' ago, saw my GP and have been referred on the 2-week pathway (as expected). I am pretty sure my lump is benign as it seemed to appear overnight and is the size of a large grape/small plum plus although it's quite hard, it's smooth and seems to be mobile. Unfortunately my GP sat on the fence which has got me worried. I know the vast majority of lumps are benign and I know that I will find out soon enough but this is a worrying time and I would be interested in other breast lump experiences and subsequent diagnosis. I'm 47. Thanks
