Mole on scalp

So I noticed a mole on my scalp well tbh I'm not sure if it a mole as it's not raised it not lumpy or bumpy but I noticed it last month went to gp and the nurse said it looks like u picked a spot but I told her I didnt have a spot there since then its changed in colour.. so went on Google the worst place u can go and search up stuff and it come up Melanoma!!! Now I'm shitting bricks and cant eat or sleep need advice please I feel like the gp is not taken my concern seriously

It’s very unlikely to be a melanoma, it’s got hair follicles in it. Moles can grow at any time.
