Strange lump TMI

Well over a year ago I found a lump down below, a little pea size lard lump and one much smaller right next to it, I had it checked out at the doctors who said it was probably a cyst (it's on the inside of my labia near the entrance IYGWIM) and they would disappear on their own.

It's now well over a year and they are still there! They don't hurt and I don't think they've grown any bigger so should I make another appointment with a gp or just leave them?

@lljkk just had a little google of VD as I didn't know what it meantBlush all tests I've had have come back clear, no other symptoms they aren't skin tags or anything they are under the skin and hard if that makes a difference? They are just in one side and just the two that I can find!

Is it the bartholin gland OP?

It's bartholin cyst. Providing they stay pea sized and don't hurt, it's fine. You will know if you need to get it looked at it. First one I had got about sprout sized and disappeared after a couple of weeks.

Second - well, I am currently 3 days post op after it turned into an abscess.

There is no cause. THE MOMENT either feel slightly tender get antibiotics. Do not wait like I did thinking it will sort itself out.

@Mynameisnotthis just googled and it looks like it could be that!

@Angelik hope you're feeling better soon! Touch wood they don't hurt! I do check regularly to see if they are still there and they are, one is a pea sized lump and the one right next to it is a lot smaller but still hard! I'll make sure I get to the doctors as soon as they become sore!
