What's wrong with me?!

I've been having some weird symptoms this week.

Monday afternoon and Tuesday I had stomach cramps and a touch of diarrhea which I put down to my period.

Tuesday evening the stomach cramps got worse but were a bit different from period cramps. They were more like the cramps you get when you've got food poisoning or trapped wind. I couldn't stand up straight without being in pain. I thought it may be a touch of food poisoning but no other symptoms.

Wednesday morning I felt really sick and nearly vomited. Throughout the day I had the same cramps like food poisoning/trapped wind but they were less in my stomach and more like just underneath my ribs. They also weren't just in the front of my body but also around the back. They got worse after I went out for a walk.

Today I woke up with the same under-the-ribs-round-the-back-food-poisoning-trapped-wind cramps. I lay in bed curled up like you do when you're trying to get trapped wind out and they went away (no farts came out though). Since going for a walk, the cramps are back but not as bad as they were yesterday.

I've googled but the results are massively mixed (ranging from ruptured appendix to a touch of gas). Any ideas what the actual fuck is wrong with me?!

I'm suffering similar right now. My GP did loads of blood tests that came out clear. I also had the Ambulance out to me once because I was having severe chest pains, arm tingles and clammy cold skin. This eased after about 20 minutes. All ECG tests are clear (phew).

Where I am currently is waiting for an Ultrasound on my upper abdomen looking mainly at my gallbladder. I know I have gallstones as they were found over 12 years ago when I was pg on ultrasound. They said to leave them until they caused problems. I'd forgotten about them to be honest.
My GP thinks it might be gallbladder stones shifting or my gallbladder is inflamed 🤷🏻‍♀️. I'm hoping it is that in a way because at least I'll know and maybe be able to have gallbladder out.

Can you get an appointment with your GP?
There are so many things that could cause abdominal pain, you need to see someone who can either treat or refer you.

The pain isn't really on the right side (gall bladder side) and isn't spreading to the shoulder. It might migrate though!

@RoseyOldCrow I was going to give it another few days and then book with the GP and try to get in within the next three weeks... very unlikely at my surgery.

Well if it takes that long to get an appt, best book it now - you can always cancel if you don't need it!

Sounds like either grumbling appendix, gallbladder issues or inflammation of the gut. You should definitely make an appointment to see your gp as soon as you can. I had my appendix removed as a middle of the night emergency case. Not funny. Another gp had diagnosed a stomach virus earlier in the day! By midnight the pain was unbearable. My DH knew something was wrong and took me to a&e. My appendix was removed within an hour of arriving in hospital.
