Was just wondering if anyone else had experienced similar before because I wasn't sure whether to waste a gp appointment on frequent bowel movements and hunger lol

Speak to your GP then and get it checked out if you’re concerned. Then you’ll know one way or another.

There's been no vomiting, diarrhea or lack of appetite though?

Sounds like a tummy bug? If it lasts a few more days, I'd pop to the GP I think.

Hi all, sorry in advance for the tmi! I usually have quite a regular habit of a bowel movement each morning, once in a blue moon I'll have 2 in a day. For the last week or so I've been going between 1-4 times a day, all normal textures/colours, a bit of excess wind I'd say but the strangest part of it all is that I have been ravenously hungry on the days where I'm going more often, to the point where within about 10 mins of the 3rd or 4th poo I am feeling shaky and light headed and nauseous because of the hunger and it comes on so quickly from not feeling one bit hungry before the bowel movement.

Is this a metabolism thing? It's proving a nuisance in work where I can't just go and eat immediately if I'm not due a break. I'm eating a lot more than normal on these days and I'm wondering is it a ridiculous catch 22?

Anyone ever had this before?
