Constantly bloated

For the last couple of weeks I have been bloated the whole time. It does get a bit worse after I eat but it is still there in the morning when I wake up. This is different to how it has been before when I might get bloated after eating certain foods. I’ve put on a few pounds when I’m usually fairly stable but that could be due to a change in routine and maybe snacking a bit more. So maybe that is causing the bloating. Does anyone have any ideas or ways to reduce it? Nothing I’ve tried so far has helped eg peppermint tea, drinking lots of water. Thanks in advance, feels too minor to see the GP.

For me it's carbs, like bread and beer. Baked goods any kind of bread. Causes terrible gut inflammation

I was bloated exactly how you've described. Turned out to be a huge ovarian cyst. I would go to the gp.

I would go to the GP if I were you. There are a ton of perfectly normal explanations like diet etc but constant bloating that doesn’t really go down is a symptom of ovarian cancer. I’m obviously not saying that you have cancer but it’s worth ruling it out and making sure it isn’t a symptom of anything else that could be easily treated.

Please go to GP and mention bloating as a symptom so they can rule out ovarian cancer

Thank you, yes I was googling ovarian cancer the other day, certainly hope it is not that! But I will go and get it checked. I’m away at the moment though so I can’t get a GP appointment and it’s horrible. I look about 5 months pregnant, though I’m not. I can go to the GP on Monday, hopefully.

I get really bad bloating thanks to IBS, could that be a possibility?

Just get checked out by a GP. You couldn`t be pregnant I suppose?

Do you get pain in your chest with it? I used to bloat loads, it turned out to be gallstones. Staying away from fatty foods helped.
