Does Spotting Delay Your Period??

Hi all
For a few months now I’ve been on a regular 33 day cycle. My last period was 6th - 10th June and my next one should of started last week on the 9th July. I’m a week late which has never happened before. About two weeks ago though I had some light Vaginal Bleeding which I thought was spotting (I’ve never had that before but that’s what google told me)

So my question is did spotting delay period? It’s the only thing that was out of the ordinary!
