Itchy fingers driving me mad!

I have no idea what is causing this but for about a week i have been getting itchy fingers. Mainly evenings and mornings. A couple of times a small blister like spot is there but most times there is nothing visable that is causing the itching.
It is driving me crazy! They are itching now.Two fingers on right hand and three on left. One has had a small blister like spot since this moning.

Any ideas what it could be? Or how i should be treating the itch?

I get this too.

Once had it really badly and it turned out to be a reaction to handwashing stuff in soda crystals, but have often had the little colourless bumps and itchiness for no apparent reason.

I assume its a reaction to something and take a bit of piriton and that generally calms it down.

Thanks.
I took piriton tablet this morning for hayfever.
That means i can't take anymore i presume?

Hydrocortisone will help with the itching.

Have you got new detergent or hand cream? I ended up using vaseline on my hands - the itching led to/ caused (not sure which) really dry skin/ eczema and was making me miserable.

I know someone who swears by olive oil.

yes i think so.

Have you been using anything this last week that you dont normally,

a different cleaning product maybe, or just having occasion to touch stuff you dont normally? (that sounds ominous )

Um, tortoise, wish this hadn't crossed my mind, but I do remember my flatmate having scabies - and it felt a lot like that. Especially between her fingers. Eventually, she had little teeny red dots - but not much to see. It was very easily treated, and no one else in the flat caught it. She never figured out how she caught it, either

You've probably got an allergy or eczema, but just in case nothing else worked, thought it might be worth mentioning

I am pretty sure its just a reaction to something.
Realised this morning that i have been using new dettol 4 in one on work tops because i ran out of tesco anti bac stuff.
Am going to stop using it and see if the itching goes.
