Ds has a cold and a rash on his body and has developed these blistery spots on his face like acne. What could they be, and should I be worried. He seems fine in himself, he is eating!!!! TiA

Chickenpox is blistery spots filled with clear pus/fluid. Tends to start on body though I think.

molluscum contagiosum - wart like spots (kinda like chicken pox), part of the pox family, harmless, contagoius if scratched and they leak and you touch it. My DT's have it, one very badly (he has sensitive skin and prone to eczema (sp)) and the other has only a few.

Can take from 9 months - 3 years to go away.

it's a possibility

sounds like could be impetigo? look on website www.patient.uk
If it is very contagious, need to see Dr for cream
