Burning skin and tiredness - my teenager

My DS14 has been complaining of a burning feeling on his back and head since yesterday. He was feeling a bit sick yesterday and was asleep by 8pm. I phoned him today after work and he was asleep. He's just done some homework and had a shower and I've popped my head in the room and he's out for the count again. Very unlike him. He's never unwell for more than half day! Saying that, he doesn't seem overly ill, but the burning skin thing is a new one for me.

Is there anything I should be considering?

Thanks.

Shingles can start with a burning feeling

Thanks @dementedpixie A lady in my work has just had that (not that they've been in contact).

I'll keep an eye out. Hopefully it's a coincidence. I know I tend to massively overthink any health issues.

you don't get shingles from shingles. It's a reactivation of the chicken pox virus sometimes brought on by stress, being a bit run down, etc

Ah, okay Blush Thank you.

He's certainly not stressed, that much I'm sure ofGrin
