My son had all his vaccinations. But somehow manged to be the odd child who still managed to get rotavirus, ended up.in hospital with low blood sugars due to severe diarrhoea. And now it seems I have got it.
Has anyone else babies had rotavirus even though they had their vaccinations?

How recently was your son vaccinated against rotavirus? It is a live vaccine and spreads easily, so care has to be taken when changing nappies for a period of two weeks, as per NHS website:

As a precaution, anyone in close contact with recently vaccinated babies should take special care with personal hygiene for two weeks following vaccination, including washing their hands carefully after changing the baby's nappy.
