And how do you get insurance?

Of course. Just declare it as a pre-existing condition when you apply for insurance. If you want it to be covered by the policy then it will likely increase your premium by a small amount.

Keep typing it in and get lists of companies saying it will be necessary to get specialist cover because nobody will insure.

Fit 50 year old just been diagnosed. We go to USA for a month end of Juky.

Panicking.

Seems impossible to find proper advice, just scores of insurance companies pop up when we search.

Inguinal hernia.

Just had a shitty 6 months. Lost both our fathers. Booked the holiday in the middle of both deaths 3 months ago.

Dh so fit and healthy. Had a previous one that was operated on successfully years ago. This is other side.

Trying to get s private appointment with consultant so at least we can say he has been seen by an expert. We and more importantly the kids really need this holiday but no intention of going uninsured.

Not sure we can stretch to paying for the op privately before we go. Suspect they’ll do a wait and watch thing.
