Itching in vulva/clitoris area - infection?

Hi
Name changed as I'm very embarrassed about this! last night I decided to have some me time and used my rabbit...it's been a few weeks since I last used it and I do clean it after every use but I stupidly didn't realise how long it'd been since I last used it or I'd have cleaned it beforehand too. I'm worried that I may have given myself some kind of infection, since straight after I stopped using it I've had itching and burning pain in the vulva/clitoris area and one side of my labia seems swollen and I've had some yellowish discharge....Bank holiday obviously, so not able to see anyone about it today. Any over the counter stuff I could try for it? Or do I need to wait and see a doctor? TIA

Could this be thrush? is it worth just getting one of the Canesten tests

I would put money on it being thrush.

Tesco do the pessary which will clear that right up.

I'm going to see a doc asap about this but it won't be able to be for another couple of days

I got the Canesten (talked with a pharmacist too) and I have used the cream which has helped the itching a lot, it's virtually all gone, but now there's a kind of stinging in the area and some brown red discharge that seems to be coming from the urethra..has it turned into a UTI or can Canesten cause that?
