Noticed this “spot” like bump recently - I felt like it had been there a while and just assumes it was a spot scar. I looked at some old photos and realised it’s been there for at least two and a half years! :-/

It’s usually skin coloured but I wondered if it was a large milia as I get those so tried to get rid of it with a needle but no funk came out it just bled a bit. It’s now gone red so looks more spot like and shiny than it usually does.

I will get it checked out but can’t get into the doctor for at least a week as I’m going away so just wondered if anyone had anything similar?

I suppose it still could be a spot scar-that wouldn’t necessarily disappear?

Clogged pore?

I have some moles that don’t have much colour and look like that.

@biscuitdrama I will feel so silly if it’s a mole because I can’t remember if I’ve had it for ages or it just came in the last few years. Should probably stop stabbing it with a needle in that case

Hadn’t thought of a clogged pore, don’t really know what one looks like. I guess yes it could be a scar I have a vague memory of a spot being there but not sure if I’m making it up

I think it’s a myth that you shouldn’t poke moles. I don’t think you can make them cancerous. So I wouldn’t worry that you’ve been poking it. I’m not a dr though.

@biscuitdrama fair enough, I guess they are just skin really.
It feels a lot softer than my other moles, but then it looks different too so would likely be from a different 'family' of mole. I guess the only way I will really know is to go and get it looked at, but was interested to see if anyone had spot scars that were similar or moles etc that looked similar so your post was helpful, thank you.

well i think my poking it with a needle has definitely angered it as it's really red now Blush
I'm going to make an appointment when i get back from holiday as it's really bothering me now
