Mouth ulcers

Anyone else suffer from mouth ulcers? At the minute I have one on my tongue and one on the back of my throat and as melodramatic as it sounds they are making me feel so unwell!

I tend to get them when run down or ill. I also have a stinking cold at the minute and am achey with swelling in glands under my arm so it's clearly a virus of some kind but it's the ulcers giving me the most trouble as they are so painful and the pain tends to radiate to my head and ears too. I use salt water, mouthwash and painkillers usually but nothing seems to be helping right now.

Also worried about the swelling under my arms (lymph nodes) as don't usually get this. Just feel totally rubbish! Any ideas for relief? I'm guessing doctors will just say it's viral and ride it out...

Get a bottle of TCP I know it smells utterly disgusting but trust me when I say it works. I have always suffered from them since being a child and I went to the drs and he recommended it and I have never looked back! I pass this wisdom on to anyone who will listen lol as I know how painful they can be. Just get a cotton bud soak it in tcp and dab it over the ulcer! Youl stink for the day but the relief will be heavenly!

Thanks for the suggestions. Are there any particular triggers that cause yours?

I don’t have a trigger I just think some people are prone to them more than others x
